Easter

Easter already!  I was very excited about Easter this year knowing that the kids would be old enough to have a lot of fun hunting eggs.  We colored eggs at my mom's house the day before like we do every year.  Lincoln had fun mixing the colors.  He wasn't very patient waiting got the eggs to get nice and bright!

Easter morning we were up early getting ready for church.  I even got Lincoln in a polo shirt!  Yahoo!  After service we headed home so the kids could nap before heading to participate in the Easter festivities.  Haha!  Brooklyn took a good nap, but not Lincoln.  The weather was gorgeous and I was able to sneak a little "me" time in reading on a blanket in the yard.

We headed to my parent's house so the kids could  open their Easter baskets...  Spoiled rotten!  Especially considering they had already gotten an Easter basket from Grandma Danette after church and one from us!

We walked over to my grandparents for the annual egg hunt.  Lincoln was pretty excited.  He was guarding the door while everyone was hiding eggs.

It wasn't long before Brooklyn got the hang of egg hunting, but the hill was really causing her some difficulty!

After the hunt we enjoyed a delicious meal and visited :-)
