Another House Update

Driving out to the property each day is surreal.  Each day I feel overjoyed that we are able to build our own house exactly how we want (well, pretty close anyway).  Things are moving quickly, yet due to the excitement it feels like move in day will never arrive!  

The kids LOVE going to the property.  In fact Lincoln wants to go there before daycare most days.  I have to remind him that I have to work and that we will go in the evening.  I think his favorite spot is on the soon to be patio out back.  He has been smashing bugs, karate chopping spiders, and burying his cars out there.  I can tell already that we will be spending bundles of quality time out there in the future.  We are already making cherished memories out there.  

Because Lincoln is the oldest we told him that he can choose which room he wants.  Most of the time he chooses the room that faces the back, but today he decided that he wanted the one that faces the front.  We will see as time goes on what his final decision will be.     

It's amazing how quickly the framing goes up!  This week the plumbing, electric and roof go on along with windows!  Stay tuned!
